Prior to co-founding INDOCHINA LEGAL with Eric Le Dréau, Tuan has served as general counsel for several multinational companies, including leading the Asia Pacific legal team for Australia’s largest telecommunications company, and as a senior associate for the Vietnam office of a prominent US-headquartered global law firm.

As a long-standing member of the Bar of Hanoi with more than 20 years of legal practice in Vietnam, Tuan has developed expertise in corporate and commercial matters, tax, international law, joint ventures, inward investment, mergers and acquisitions, real estate and infrastructure. He has also extensive in dealing with both local and central authorities (including in advisory and policy-making capacity) and has advised both local and international investors, financial institutions, bidding consortia, and joint venture and business cooperation contract parties in various projects in several sectors.

In cooperation with his local law firm, Tuan leads the dispute resolution team on all cases before the courts in Vietnam and assists in international arbitration on issues of Vietnamese law.
